The Duality of Time Theory is a novel and ambitious attempt to unify physics and metaphysics, but it also faces some criticisms and challenges from different perspectives. Some of the criticisms are:

- The theory lacks a clear and consistent mathematical formulation that can be tested and verified by experiments and observations¹.
- The theory relies on the works of Ibn al-Arabi, a medieval mystic and philosopher, whose interpretations of Islamic theology and cosmology are not universally accepted or understood by other scholars².
- The theory assumes the existence of a supernatural or metaphysical realm that interacts with the physical realm, which is not compatible with the naturalistic and materialistic worldview of modern science³.
- The theory does not explain how the inner real time and the outer imaginary time are related or synchronized, or how the complex-time geometry affects the causality and determinism of physical events⁴.

These are some of the criticisms that the Duality of Time Theory has to address and overcome in order to gain more acceptance and recognition in the scientific and philosophical community.
