The DoT comparing to other theories of time.

The main philosophical views of time are:

  • The block universe theory, which holds that the past, present, and future are all equally real and exist as a four-dimensional spacetime block. This theory is supported by the special and general theories of relativity, which imply that time is relative and not absolute.
  • The presentism theory, which holds that only the present moment is real and the past and future are unreal. This theory is compatible with our intuitive experience of time, but faces difficulties in explaining how we can know about the past or predict the future.
  • The growing block theory, which holds that the past and present are real, but the future is unreal. This theory allows for the reality of change and causation, but raises questions about the nature and origin of the boundary between the present and the future.
  • The eternalism theory, which holds that the past, present, and future are all equally real, but there is no objective present moment. This theory is also compatible with relativity, but challenges our common sense notion of temporal flow and free will.
  • The dynamic theory, which holds that time is an emergent phenomenon that arises from the interactions of more fundamental entities. This theory attempts to reconcile the static view of time in physics with the dynamic view of time in psychology and biology.

Between all that, the Duality of Time Theory, since it is based on the Single Monad Model of the Cosmos, considers that nothing is actually real except One metaphysical entity, called the Single Monad, that is perpetually creating the present frame of space (which appears to us real only through imagination). In a way this is similar to presentisim, but the actual present here is metaphysical. On the other hand, since this process of creation is perpetual, the monad itself does not undergo any time or change, because all the states are equally present (like in eternalism). Therefore, just as the dynamic view of time suggests, time in itself does not have any reality (for the all-present Single Monad), but for us as partial and temporal forms created by the monad (the only-real entity), time emergs due to our imagination which compares between the successtive forms or frames of space that appear to us in certain sequence. >>> That's why Ibn al-Arabi says: "In reality, Time is REAL, yet it is only known by Imagination".....  As a result, in the DoT, there are two levels of time: inner and outer, or real and imaginary... Message from the Author:

I have no doubt that this is the most significant discovery in the history of mathematics, physics and philosophy, ever!

By revealing the mystery of the connection between discreteness and contintuity, this novel understanding of the complex (time-time) geometry, will cause a paradigm shift in our knowledge of the fundamental nature of the cosmos and its corporeal and incorporeal structures.

As a result of the original divine manifestation, all kinds of motions are driven by Love and Passion. Who could possibly not instantly fall in love with this perfect and most beautiful harmony! Beauty is desirable for its own essence, and if the Exalted (Real) did not manifest in the form of beauty, the World would not have appeared out into existence.
